At the tender age of 13, Ballaké’s life took an unexpected turn when his father passed away, leaving a vacant spot in the Ensemble Instrumental National du Mali. With unwavering dedication, he seized this opportunity and embarked on his musical journey. In the 1990s, Ballaké Sissoko ventured into the world of solo music, often collaborating with artists from diverse corners of the globe. His music is a beautiful fusion of tradition and innovation, transcending borders and captivating hearts worldwide.
