Kora, played by Sofie Boutella, is a stranger living among the villagers in a peaceful colony on the edge of a galaxy. When the Mother World’s armies threaten the colony, Kora assumes the role of their leader and sets out to assemble an army of rebels. She enlists fighters from different worlds who share a common need for redemption and revenge and trains them for the impossible task of saving their home.
The plot sounds like the perfect recipe for an epic sci-fi fantasy film, and fans expect that Snyder’s signature style will be evident in the visual effects, action sequences, and the kind of storytelling that made 300 and Watchmen so successful.
