Apple Music Classical

Apple Music Classical, a new app for listening to classical music with an Apple Music subscription, is now available to download from the App Store. It offers a catalog of over 5 million tracks at up to 192 kHz/24 bit hi-res lossless, as well as curated playlists, composer biographies, and other features to help people learn more about the genre. However, the app does not support the Apple Music Voice Plan and does not have a native iPad version or allow for offline downloads at launch.

Needless to say I am really thrilled to have a stand-alone app for classical music. I used to subscribe to IDAGIO for while but paying for two music apps (I am also an Apple Music user) didn’t make sense in along run. Classical music was always available on Apple Music but you had dig around among everything else to get what you want to listen to. Now with standalone app, which is already included in Apple Music subscription it will make it easy to listen to classical music and for no extra cost. Thanks Apple! You did it again.
