Chicano Batman is a four-piece American band based in Los Angeles, California. I have been listening to their latest album for the past few days and I am hooked. With five albums under their belt, their most release is Invisible People (2020). It’s mostly guitar-heavy tunes that are smooth and cool, lounge-like, with a deep and capacious 1970s soul vibe.
The group’s sound draws from a mix of genres ranging from psychedelic soul, funk, indie, prog, and rock. Formed in 2008, the band is composed of Eduardo Arenas, Carlos Arévalo, Bardo Martinez and Gabriel Villa. So if you looking for something new, consider adding them to your playlist.
